Pre-sales Approach
The customer had worked with us on a variety of other projects. Our proximity to their headquarters and our willingness to work onsite made us a good fit as a consultant. The goal was to leverage our existing relationship to expand on the types of services that we could offer.
I conducted an onsite sales pitch which included a packet of materials, PowerPoint presentation, and an “Art of the Possible” in the shape of a digital design system built in Figma. The materials had to be printed on premium paper with bindings for the best experience. There was the added challenge of having a portion the materials delivered to the secondary location.
Research & Design
I met with several of my team members who had executed or were executing on existing work. I made note of the client culture and unmet needs. I learned that they recently opened a new state of the art office in their east coast headquarters. I incorporated architectural design elements of the new office into the application design to help create a consistency between the digital and real world parts of the business. An extensive brand and industry analysis was required to get this right.
